JATCO has officially opened a new automotive transmission manufacturing plant in Amata Nakorn, Thailand, with an investment of around JPY20bn (USD200m), says a company press release. International Automotive Component (IAC) has announced investment of GBP3.5m (USD5.46m) at its Solihull and Scunthorpe facility in the UK to cater to new contracts from Jaguar Land Rover, reports Plastic & Rubber Weekly.
