Rohde & Schwarz, Huawei conduct precision latency measurement trial for C-V2X communication
The initial measurements showed that it is possible to achieve delays in the millisecond regime in a 5G network, demonstrating a superior latency performance compared to LTE
Rohde & Schwarz and Huawei have successfully conducted field test of cellular-based 5G V2X latency measurements in Munich (Germany) and Shanghai (China), the Germany-based company said in a press release on 5 December. The initial measurements showed that it is possible to achieve delays in the millisecond regime in a 5G network, demonstrating a superior latency performance compared to LTE.
