5GAA filed waiver request with FCC that seeks to deploy C-V2X technology in a portion of 5.9 GHz band in November last year

Automakers, tier1 suppliers and information and communication technology (ICT) companies have extended support for the 5G Association’s (5GAA) ‘waiver request’ that seeks permission to deploy cellular-vehicle to everything (C-V2X) communication technology in a portion of 5.9 GHz band, 5GAA said in a press release on 11 February.
