Jointly developed platform will be sold and marketed by Autoliv
Ericsson has teamed up with Zenuity, a joint venture (JV) formed by Volvo and Autoliv, to develop end-to-end platform for connected safety, advanced driver assistance support (ADAS) and autonomous driving software and functions, the Sweden-based company said in a press release last week. The companies will collaborate on development of ‘Zenuity Connected Cloud’, a white-label autonomous cloud solution for automakers. The Zenuity Connected Cloud will be powered by Ericsson’s IOT Accelerator.
