PEV uptake to remain strong despite receding incentives
The Plug-In Electric Vehicle Index looks to track regional uptake of plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) and ranks the country market share of PEV registrations in a given quarter. A PEV is any motor vehicle that can be recharged from any external source of electricity. Broadly, a PEV consists of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs).
