Panasonic to begin production of new improved variant of 2170 cells in 2024
Panasonic aims to provide 200 GWh of EV batteries in North America by 2030 as against its current capacity of 50 GWh
Japanese battery-maker Panasonic plans to launch an improved variant of its 2170 electric vehicle battery cells with plans to commence production of these cells at its manufacturing plant in Nevada, US, during 2024 or 2025, according to a news report published by Bloomberg on Jan. 15.
