Honda and Mitsubishi to establish joint venture ALTNA Co. in 2024
ALTNA Co. to target electric vehicle market and decarbonization using Honda's EV technology and Mitsubishi's power generation expertise.
Honda Motor Co. Ltd. and Mitsubishi Corporation have announced plans to establish a new 50-50 joint venture company, ALTNA Co. Ltd., in July 2024. The venture is the result of a memorandum of understanding signed by the two companies in October 2023, aimed at launching new businesses to capitalize on expected growth in the electric vehicle (EV) market and to support a future decarbonized society.
