Posco, CNGR to jointly build plants for nickel, precursor in South Korea
The planned factories will be able to produce 50,000 metric tons of nickel and 110,000 metric tons of precursors per annum
Posco Holdings and Posco Future M Co., the chemicals and materials-producing unit of the steel giant, have signed joint venture agreements with China’s CNGR Advanced Materials Co. to build factories for nickel refining and battery precursors in South Korea, according to a news report published by The Korea Bizwire on June 21.
