EV battery maker Panasonic to source high-nickel cathode from Redwood Materials
Redwood Material’s partnership with PENA began in 2019
Battery recycling company Redwood Materials announced on 15 November 2022 that it will supply battery cathode materials to Panasonic, which will use the same for battery cell production at its new Kansas plant in the US. Panasonic’s new Kansas battery production plant is expected to commence operations in 2025.
