Panasonic plans to expand battery production capacity in the US by 2030
Panasonic aims to advance battery density in the future and has set a goal to achieve 1,000 Wh/L by 2030
Japanese battery manufacturer Panasonic Holdings Corporation plans to build a large production capacity for 4680 battery cells in North America by 2030, according to a news report filed by Reuters on May 18. The news report cited a company document, released by Panasonic on its website last week.
