Panasonic’s move is aligned with its larger goal of developing an optimal charging infrastructure that will support the uptake of EVs in Japan

Tokyo-headquartered battery-maker Panasonic Corp. (Panasonic) plans to invest in electric vehicle (EV) charging service startup Ubiden, Inc. (Ubiden) through its corporate venture capital arm — Panasonic Kurashi Visionary Fund, the company announced on April 27.
