The company’s new investment will allow European EV motor manufacturers to decrease reliance on Chinese imports for the materials

Belgian chemical company Solvay announced via press release on 16 September that it plans expand its rare earths oxide separation operations in La Rochelle, France to serve customers in the fast-growing EV motor market.
