Qualcomm offers to buy Swedish auto parts maker Veoneer for USD4.6 billion, topping Magna's bid
Magna made an all-cash offer to buy rival Veoneer for approximately USD3.8 billion.
According to an official press release dated 5 August, chipmaker Qualcomm had offered to buy Swedish auto parts maker Veoneer for USD4.6 billion, an 18.4% premium over a bid accepted by Veoneer's board in July by Canada's Magna International.
