Magna and Veoneer announce expiration of waiting period under HSR Act
The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2021 or in the first quarter of 2022, subject to Veoneer stockholder approval
According to an official press release dated 21 September, Magna and Veoneer announced that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, or HSR Act, in connection with Magna's previously announced acquisition of Veoneer had expired.
