General Motors to sell its stake in Ultium Cells battery plant in Michigan to LG Energy Solution
The transaction does not change the carmaker’s ownership interest in Ultium Cells LLC
General Motors (GM) has reached a non-binding agreement to sell its stake in the nearly completed Ultium Cells LLC battery-cell plant in Lansing, Michigan, to its joint venture partner LG Energy Solution (LGES), GM announced Dec. 2.
