Toshiba Electronics Europe GmbH has introduced engineering samples of its new TB9084FTG, a metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) gate driver integrated circuit (IC) designed for controlling three-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motors commonly used in the automotive industry, as reported in a press release on Nov. 28.
