Panasonic still aims to expand its production capacity and triple its revenues, but it no longer has a deadline to achieve the two goals

Japanese battery maker Panasonic Energy looks to scrap its earlier plans of quadrupling its production capacity while working toward a goal of tripling its revenues by 2030 amid a slowdown in the demand for battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) in North America, according to a news report published by Nikkei Asia on June 6.
