Volkswagen — Renault end talks on potential EV deal
European automakers are looking to produce smaller EVs that sell below €20,000 in order to fairly compete with the EV brands from mainland China
German carmaker Volkswagen and France’s Renault plan to end ongoing talks to jointly develop affordable and competitively priced electric cars for European customers, according to a news report published by Reuters on May 18.
