The budget allocated for clean vehicle purchases will be reduced to €1 billion in 2025, a decrease from its current funding of €1.5 billion

The French government has announced plans to reduce its financial support for the purchase of electric vehicles by a third as part of its 2025 budget proposal, alongside implementing stricter penalties for vehicles emitting high levels of CO2.
