Wolfspeed and ZF to open R&D center in Nuremberg, Germany, to optimize SiC semiconductor technology
The new joint research facility is supported by the German federal government and the regional government of Bavaria
As part of their strategic partnership announced earlier this 2023, ZF Friedrichshafen and Wolfspeed revealed their plans to establish a joint European research and development (R&D) center for Silicon Carbide (SiC) power electronics in the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region, Germany.
