Experts at Technical University of Munich develops ethical algorithm for autonomous vehicles
The researchers emphasized the fact that even algorithms that are based on risk ethics – although they can make decisions based on the underlying ethical principles in every possible traffic situation - they still cannot guarantee accident-free street traffic
According to a press release on 3 February 2023, the researchers at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) have developed autonomous driving software which distributes risk on the street in a fair manner.
