TDK introduces new ‘CLT32’ power inductors for autonomous driving power management
New inductors are ideal for use in safety-relevant automotive applications
TDK Corporation has unveiled the CLT32 series power inductors with extremely compact dimensions and better electrical values with a new design, according to a press release on 26 July 2022. The nine kinds have an inductance range of 17 nH to 440 nH and are designed for saturation currents ranging from 13.5 A to 60 A. With a tiny footprint of 3.2 x 2.5 mm and an insertion height of 2.5 mm, they are the most compact SMT power inductors in their performance class. They are designed to withstand temperatures ranging from -40 °C to 165 °C, including self-heating.
