Highlights from the 2022 Paris Motor Show
As expected, the French brands staged a strong presence at the 2022 Paris Motor Show, but the displays by Asian brands such as Great Wall Motor, BYD, and Vinfast reflected their growing intent to expand their customer base in the European electric vehicle market.
The biennial Paris Motor Show (Mondial de l'Automobile in French) alternates with the Frankfurt Motor Show. The 2022 edition, which took place from 17–23 October 2022 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, returned in four years after the last one planned in March 2020 was canceled due to the pandemic.
