Ford Motor upgrades Cologne plant to produce electric cars in Europe
Ford has earmarked investment of almost USD2.02 billion in the retooling and conversion of the Cologne site into an EV production facility
Ford Motor Company’s Cologne-based manufacturing plant in Germany is being prepared to produce electric cars in Europe at a time when the assembly lines at the unit are idle on account of factory vacation, the automaker said on 15 July 2022.
