Ford Motor, SK On conclude EV battery joint venture in the US
Ford and SK Innovation plan to invest USD11.4 billion in setting up battery production sites at Tennessee and Kentucky, creating nearly 11,000 new jobs in the US
Ford Motor Company and its South Korean battery partner SK Innovation have concluded their agreement of setting up a joint venture, BlueOval SK LLC, for building EV battery production plants in the US, a Reuters report published on 14 July 2022 said.
