Russia-Ukraine conflict: Aluminum prices soar after Australia bans ore exports to Russia
Disruptions to Russian aluminum production could have downstream macro effects on the global automotive supply chain.
News agency Reuters reported on 21 March that the aluminium prices rose on Monday after the Australian government announced its decision to ban exports of alumina and aluminium ores to Russia in response to its continuing military operations in Ukraine.
