BMW to switch to 100% sustainably-produced cast aluminum wheels from 2024
The automaker has formed agreements with its suppliers for renewable energy to be used during the aluminum electrolysis and wheel casting processes
German automaker BMW announced via press release on 8 April that it will be purchasing only cast aluminium wheels produced with 100% green power for its BMW and MINI brands from 2024 onward as part of its sustainability initiatives.
