Russia-Ukraine conflict: VW delays ID.5 EV launch due to shortage of Ukraine-made wiring harness
Volkswagen was not able to manufacture enough exhibition and demonstration vehicles for its sales partners
German automaker Volkswagen has delayed its ID.5 electric car launch by a month to the first week of May due to a disruption in the supply of wire harnesses from Ukraine, according to a report published by Automobilwoche on 28 March 2022.
