GM, Wolfspeed sign agreement for supply of silicon carbide for EV programs
The agreement secures long-term supply of silicon carbide to General Motors, helping the automaker deliver on its EV plans
American automaker General Motors has forged a strategic supplier agreement with chipmaker Wolfspeed, Inc., which will develop and provide silicon carbide power device solutions for GM’s future electric vehicle programs, the Detriot-based company said in a press release on 4 October.
