Applied Information secures patent for dual-mode connected vehicle communications and control of traffic signals
Technology allows first responders change signals
Applied Information has announced that the US Patent and Trademark Office has granted a patent for technology using both cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) and direct radio communication to control traffic signals, a press release on 8 July read.
