ECARX developed E-Series SOC with Taiwanese fabless semiconductor MediaTek

ECARX, a company backed by Chinese automaker Geely, has unveiled E-Series chipset at the launch of GKUI19 platform and the Geely Bo Yue PRO SUV in Beijing, China, the company said in a press release on 3 July. The new system-on-chip (SOC), developed in collaboration with Taiwan-based semiconductor company MediaTek, is designed for intelligent connected vehicles to enhance user experience when used along with GKUI platform. Geely’s new Bo Yue PRO SUV features both E-Series system-on-chip (SOC) and GKUI digital cockpit system.
