HEVs and PEVs together accounted for 14.2% of total cars sold in California during the quarter

California has witnessed a growth of 37.6% year-on-year (y/y) in sales of hybrid vehicles (HEV) and plug-in electric vehicles (PEV) combined during the fourth quarter of 2018 to 70,899 units, according to California Center for Jobs and The Economy, which cited data from California New Car Dealers Association (CNCDA).
