New bill calls for extending the current tax credit program and give USD7,000 tax credit for additional 400,000 EVs

A group of Democratic and Republican senators have proposed a new bill to expand the federal tax credit program for electric vehicles (EV) by another 400,000 vehicles per manufacturer, Reuters reported on 10 April.
