Mobile World Congress 2019: BMW unveils AI-powered ‘Natural Interaction’ technology
The system combines the advanced voice command technology available with expanded gesture control and gaze recognition to enable multimodal operation
At the 2019 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (Spain) this week, BMW is presenting its ‘Natural Interaction’ technology which is expected to transform how drivers interact with their vehicles, the German automaker said in a press release on 25 February. The artificial intelligence (AI)-powered system combines the advanced voice command technology available with expanded gesture control and gaze recognition to enable multimodal operation. BMW will make its Natural Interaction functions available in the new iNEXT electric autonomous car from 2021.
