BMW, Daimler earmarks USD1.13 billion investment to grow mobility services
Two automakers finalize five JVs to serve car-sharing, ride-hailing, parking, EV charging and multimodal transportation
BMW and Daimler have announced plans to invest EUR1 billion (USD1.13 billion) in their mobility services joint-venture (JV), the two Germany-based automakers said in a press release on 22 February. The investment will be used for developing and integrating their existing offerings in car-sharing, ride-hailing, parking, electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and multimodal transportation.
