BMW China, Baidu announce partnership on ‘home-to-vehicle’ connectivity solution
Service will enable customers to access vehicle information by voice control and operate relevant functions from home
At the CES Asia 2018 this week in Shanghai (China), BMW Connected and Baidu Internet of Vehicles signed an agreement to develop home-to-vehicle solutions that will allow consumers to control their vehicles remotely from their homes by sending voice instructions, such as turning on the ventilation, checking fuel level, locking car doors and more, the automaker announced in a press release on 14 June.
