As reported in a press release on Dec. 4, VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (VSMC), a collaboration between Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) and NXP Semiconductors N.V. (NXP), initiated the construction of a new 300mm wafer manufacturing facility in Tampines, Singapore.
