The new facility will create up to 1,150 jobs and aims to produce 5,000 electric autonomous shuttles annually, starting in 2026
Holon, a subsidiary of the global automotive supplier Benteler Group, has announced its plans to establish the first production plant for industrialized autonomous, electric shuttles in the United States, located in Jacksonville, Fla., as reported in a press release Sep. 4.
