Automated vehicles are growing increasingly popular in the UK but not all designs are people-friendly

Researchers at Birmingham City University (BCU) in the UK are using virtual reality (VR) technology to design autonomous vehicles that prioritize the safety of deaf and hard of hearing pedestrians, as reported in a press release on May 21.
