Maruti Suzuki India recalls 16,041 vehicles over fuel pump motor defect

The automaker says the recall is a precautionary measure prompted by suspicions of a defect in the Fuel Pump Motor component.

Maruti Suzuki India has issued a recall for 16,041 vehicles comprising 11,851 units of the premium Baleno hatchback and 4,190 units of the Wagon R manufactured between July 30, 2019, and November 1, 2019.
