Volkswagen recalls 98,800 ID.4 electric SUVs to fix issue with door handles
Dealers will inspect the door handles in recalled vehicles and, if necessary, replace them with improved versions at no cost to the vehicle owner
Volkswagen (VW) has issued a recall for 98,806 of its ID.4 electric sport utility vehicles (SUVs) spanning the 2021–2024 model years, due to a defect in the door handles that may lead to the doors opening unexpectedly, Green Car Reports said Sept. 10.
