Mercedes-Benz adds Sila’s silicon anode chemistry to its EV battery portfolio
Sila’s silicone anode technology enables a 20-40% increase in energy density reaching more than 800 Wh/l at cell level
German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz said on 17 May 2022 that it plans to work with the battery materials company Sila to incorporate its silicon anode chemistry to its EV battery portfolio.
