Volkswagen, Ford Motor deepen collaboration on MEB EV platform
VW, Ford Motor first signed the agreement in 2019 to work together on developing CVs but later expanded the partnership to cover EVs, pickup trucks, vans, autonomous technologies
Ford Motor Company and Volkswagen Group plan to expand their electric mobility partnership as the American carmaker aims to produce another electric model for the European market based on VW’s MEB platform, the German company said on 14 March 2022.
