BASF secures new Canadian site for battery CAM production and recycling

The site will allow BASF to produce 10 kt of CAM per year for the North American battery material industry

German chemical company BASF announced via press release on 4 March that it had signed an agreement to secure land for its future cathode active materials (CAM) and recycling site in Becancour, Quebec, Canada.
