BASF, Nano One to codevelop production technology for next-gen cathode active materials
The new technology will reduce by-products during production while improving manufacturing flexibility and reducing energy consumption
German chemical company BASF announced via press release on 31 May that it had signed a joint development agreement (JDA) with Canadian battery materials company Nano One to co-develop a process for commercial production of BASF’s next-generation HED-family cathode active materials (CAM).
