BASF to invest up to USD5.1 billion in battery materials and base metals recycling

The company is targeting battery material and base metal sales in excess of USD7.9 billion by 2030

German chemical company BASF announced via press release on 7 December that the company will be strengthening its focus on battery materials and recycling by targeting investments worth USD4.0–5.1 billion between 2022 and 2030.
