Hyundai Mobis, KT join forces to develop connected vehicle solutions using 5G network
Two companies are collaborating in the field of 5G-based real-time navigation update system and cellular vehicle to everything (C-V2X) technology
Hyundai Mobis has teamed up with the South Korean telecommunication company KT to develop connected vehicle solutions using 5G network, the company said in a press release on 17 January. As part of the collaboration, KT has set up a 5G network at Hyundai Mobis proving ground in Seosan, Chungcheong Province. Hyundai and KT plan to use this next-generation communication network for the development the 5G-based connected vehicle technologies.
