FCA enters definitive agreement to sell Magneti Marelli to Calsonic Kansei
The deal will bring together two companies to create one of the leading automotive suppliers with combined revenue of EUR15.2 billion
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has entered a definitive agreement to sell Magneti Marelli to Calsonic Kansei, FCA and Calsonic Kansei said in a joint press release today (22 October). Under the agreement FCA will sell Magneti Marelli to CK Holdings, a holding company of Calsonic Kansei, which is owned by the global investment firm KKR. The acquisition represents a transaction value of EUR6.2 billion. The acquisition, subjected to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions, is expected to complete in the first half of 2019.
