FCA to eliminate third shift at minivan plant in Canada

US automaker will return to traditional two shift a day production beginning 30 September

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has announced plans to eliminate one of three shifts at its Windsor plant, Ontario (Canada) later this year, Automotive News reported on 28 March. The company’s move could result in loss of about 1,500 jobs.
