Daimler to source EV battery cells from Contemporary Amperex Technology

German luxury automaker Daimler has given a supply order for electric vehicle (EV) battery cells to China-based Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL), Reuters reported on 2 May citing Daimler’s procurement executive, Sabine Angermann.
